Our revised route was focused on genealogy. We left Bucks County, Pennsylvania and headed
for Hagerstown, Maryland. We ended up in
another beautiful RV site in rural Maryland on a broad creek near the Antietam
battleground.

It was REALLY rural and
any services (restaurants, gas, groceries, etc.) were a long way away; but for
one night, it was spectacular.
The next
morning, we left for Ohio and ended up on the most beautiful freeway we’ve been
on.
Gorgeous leaves and panoramic
scenery looking both east and west made up for the light snow we encountered on
the summit.
It was so awesome, that we
both want to return and drive it on a clear blue autumn day when the leaves are
in full color.
Absolutely incredible!!!
